DSP/HHA Job Description

Location: Lancaster, OH, 43130

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated DSP/HHA to join our team in Lancaster, OH. The DSP/HHA will be responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Administer medications and monitor health status
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Provide transportation to appointments and community activities
• Complete documentation and maintain accurate records
• Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and team members
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
