Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and reliable Directional Bore Operators to join IBEW Local 17. The ideal candidates will have experience operating various types of heavy equipment and will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
Duties
- Work with line crews to install and repair underground cables.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and minor repairs to ensure safe operation.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- CDL-A with air brakes
- Commitment to safety practices and procedures on job sites
