Your role and responsibilities
As a Physical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the physical and electrical design and development
of high-frequency CMOS chips in leading edge technologies using sophisticated design tools and flows to
implement circuit schematics (microprocessors and ASIC) and verify against technology design rules. Skills
required include CMOS circuit and VLSI design, timing analysis. Experience with Cadence tool suite is viewed
as a significant advantage.
Required technical and professional expertise
- Understanding of Computer Architectures, Digital System Design, and VLSI Systems
- Projects in RTL design, using Verilog / VHDL
- Exposure to industry microprocessor designs
- Scripting skills (Python)
- Ability to work well in a team and be productive under aggressive schedules
- Strong communication skills
