IBSS is seeking a candidate to fill the role of a Senior Storage Administrator with ONE of the IAT level I (A CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network CE or SSCP) certifications.
This is a day shift with rotation for weekend coverage.

IBSS is seeking a candidate to fill the role of a Senior Storage Administrator with ONE of the IAT level I (A CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network CE or SSCP) certifications.
This is a day shift with rotation for weekend coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform configuration and management of disk and backup storage for connection to Government resources.
- Configure and manage government agency Storage Area Network (SAN) arrays.
- Configure and manage government agency SAN Fibre Channel switches.
- Configure and manage government agency storage tape devices.
- Configure and manage government agency cloud storage hardware- Nice to have.
- Configure and manage government agency enterprise backup solutions.
- Preserve and maintain Fibre Switch configurations stored off-device where it is backed up and can be restored to the device, if needed.
- Perform monitoring, reporting, and analysis of disk and backup storage for connection to Government resources.
- Provide capacity planning reports on storage and backup environments, identifying total storage, percent used, and percent free on each storage system.
- Monitor hardware status and open tickets for repair.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with and/or negatively impacting storage and backup.
- Monitor storage operations and report on health status.
- Monitor backup operations and report on health status.
- Perform analysis of allocated capacity and the association to servers and applications.
- Maintain current documentation associated with storage processes/procedures.
- Provide an Incident Management ticket report outlining compliance with the following, at a minimum:
- Tickets assigned within 24 hours.
- Tickets updated according to priority with low priority tickets updated within 7 days, medium priority tickets updated within 72 hours, and high priority tickets updated every 2 hours.
- Ticket updates are detailed and understandable to audiences.
- Routine storage tickets shall be completed and resolved within 72 hours of ticket assignment.
- Report shall outline a summary by Branch, Section, and then by team member.
- Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance. Top Secret clearance preferred.
- IAT Level I certification required (A CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network CE or SSCP)
- 3-7 years of relevant Storage Administration experience.
- Experience with Netapp
- NCDA-certification (preferred)
- Experience with Brocade SAN switches.
- Experience working in DoD environment.
