Position Description:
As a Business Loan Specialist - Partnerships you will be working closely with our 50 strategic partners to drive originations and hit individual and team goals. You will be responsible for a large pipeline of applications throughout the entire review and closing process, for both our term loan product and SBA products. This is one of iBusiness Funding’s largest channels and will be a critical component of the business hitting our ambitious goals.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Processing partner loan applications for iBF term loans and SBA loans.
- Ensuring all documentation and information is ready for the appropriate underwriting review. If approved, you will be responsible for supporting the partner in funding the loan.
- Managing multiple communication channels with our partners to request outstanding items, follow up, and help facilitate funding partner loans.
- Organizing and maintaining a pipeline of 100 applications through various stages of review and closing.
- Building an understanding of the wider SMB finance market to help the partner understand the unique value props of our products to drive further partner funded originations with iBF.
- Synthesizing feedback - This role is on the front lines of the SMB lending landscape and the feedback we get from partners is critical to helping us maintain a unique loan product for small businesses.
Experience:
- 1-2 years sales experience (preferred but not required)
