What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collections Specialist position at IC System?
Job Summary:
Handle both outbound and inbound calls to collect on delinquent accounts.
Build rapport by communicating in a consumer-friendly manner.
Use friendly, ethical, and effective negotiation techniques.
Achieve monthly and quarterly goals.
Schedule:
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, for the first 30 days of employment.
After the initial 30 days, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
No evenings or weekends required!
A total of 40 hours per week is required.
Location:
This position allows for remote work after the first two days, which must be worked onsite.
In addition to the first two onsite days, you will be required to attend a company-wide onsite day once per month.
Office days will be at our Vadnais Heights, MN location.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus the opportunity to earn commission monthly!

Preferred: 1 year of experience in collections or a call center environment.
