Description
ICA is currently seeking an online Brazilian Portuguese Language Instructor. The candidates should have at least two years of experience teaching the target language in a proficiency-oriented environment to adult students on an intensive basis.
Candidates must be US Citizens
Job Details:
- Period of performance: 6/3/24 - 8/11/24
- Training days: M/Tu/F
- Schedule: 9:00 am - 11:00 am EST
- Training hours: 20 instructional hours with an option to (no prep)
- Total hours: the student can request additional hours in 20-hour blocks (must be able to commit to completing the hours by 8/11/24, the program end date)
- Training type: familiarization
- Training goal: no formal goals
- Testing format: no testing planned
- Number of students: 1
- Rate: $22.00
- The training program will include homework activities and should focus on developing language skills such as: speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and culture.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of full-time experience teaching adult students
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Native speaker of the Brazilian Portuguese language
- Teaching experience with Zoom online platform preferred.
