The Scrum Master will lead Agile teams, ensuring efficient sprint planning, backlog grooming, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives).
- Remove blockers and support the team in achieving sprint goals.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize backlog items.
- Ensure Agile best practices are followed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Significant experience serving as a Scrum Master for a software development team.
- Must possess strong skills and knowledge in leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and enhancing transparency.
- Well-versed in Burndown techniques, various Retrospective formats, and effective bug handling.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
- Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and Agile metrics.
Employment Type:
- Full Time, Hybrid – Must be able to report on-site at client’s location, as required.
Security Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Active MBI Clearance preferred.
- US Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident required.
