Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our aerospace team to help build a factory with an output of 1000s of aircrafts. You will be working closely with our Mechanical Design Team and establish a variety of manufacturing processes, and excels in creating detailed documentation, drawings, and assembly instructions to drive operational efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and document manufacturing processes, ensuring they align with engineering specifications and industry standards.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and 3D models to support production.
- Write comprehensive assembly instructions and work instructions for aerospace components and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production, to optimize manufacturability and streamline production workflows.
- Utilize GD&T to ensure proper communication of part specifications and tolerances.
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase throughput.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, implement corrective actions, and develop preventive solutions.
- Evaluate and select manufacturing equipment, tools, and materials to meet project requirements.
- Conduct time studies, capacity analyses, and workflow assessments to support lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Review and implement engineering change orders (ECOs) and update documentation accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards in manufacturing operations.
