The Industry Consortium for Advanced Technical Training (ICATT) is a network of high-tech companies in need of ambitious and driven individuals looking to embark on an exciting career in advanced manufacturing. As an apprentice, you receive on-the-job training, while taking tuition free classes at Precision Metalforming Association and Lorain County Community College, where you will earn portable credentials.
Our network company, Welser Profile, is eagerly seeking a mechanically inclined individual to train as an apprentice in Stamping and Rollforming Technician.
What are Stamping and Rollforming Technicians?
Stamping and Rollforming Technicians are skilled professionals who create customized metal roll-formed profiles. They operate and troubleshoot advanced equipment to bend, punch, and shape metal materials according to precise specifications.
Start Date: Summer 2025
What is the ICATT Apprenticeship Program?
- Three-year “earn while you learn” program. Get paid an hourly wage and as well as a student stipend,
- Get your relevant classes at Precision Metalforming Association and Lorain County Community College paid for by your company,
- Combination of classes (2 days/week) and hands-on training (3 days/week) with ICATT Network Company Welser Profile.
What are the requirements?
- High School Diploma or GED - recent High School graduates welcome!
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Veterans are welcome! ICATT is G.I. Bill certified
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to and from work/school
- Employer-specific requirements may apply
- Positions are entry level
