The Employee Onboarding and Compliance Liaison is responsible for managing the process of integrating new employees into the company, ensuring a smooth transition from day one through training. This role involves providing new hires with all the necessary information about company culture, policies, procedures, and ensuring they have the tools and access needed to succeed in their roles.
The Liaison will also serve as a liaison between Employee Relations and Employee Onboarding, offering expertise on legal and compliance-related concerns while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the onboarding process. This individual ensures adherence to labor laws, tracks onboarding progress, and conducts regular follow-ups with both new hires and hiring managers to ensure a successful onboarding experience and full compliance with company policies and regulations.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the complete onboarding process, ensuring new employees receive an organized, welcoming, and comprehensive orientation. Facilitate their smooth integration into the company, ensuring they are equipped with necessary tools, access, and information to perform their roles effectively.
- Ensure all onboarding activities and documentation adhere to labor laws and company policies. This includes tracking completion of required legal documents, such as BCBA/Clinician Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and any other relevant legal forms.
- Serve as the point of contact between Employee Relations and Onboarding teams, providing guidance on concerns or inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and compliance matters. Offer expertise in resolving conflicts, providing clarity on policies, and ensuring alignment across departments.
- Develop and implement strategies to integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives into the onboarding process. Ensure all new hires feel welcomed and included from the outset, supporting the company’s efforts to foster an inclusive culture.
- Conduct regular check-ins with new hires at key milestones (30, 60, and 90 days) to address concerns, provide support, and track their integration and performance.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure the timely completion of 30- and 60-day evaluations for new hires, gathering feedback on employee progress and addressing any areas of concern.
- Develop and distribute surveys to new hires to gather feedback on their onboarding experience. Analyze the results and implement improvements based on identified areas of opportunity.
- Serve as the main point of contact for new hires and the Academy of Excellence during their training process, ensuring smooth coordination from day one through completion of initial training programs.
- Conduct audits of the onboarding process to ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and best practices. Address and manage any risks related to employment practices.
- Track the completion of all required onboarding tasks and documentation. Ensure that all deadlines are met, and new hires are fully integrated into the company’s systems and processes.
- Provide clear guidance and answer questions from new hires related to company policies, benefits, job expectations, and any additional legal documentation required for signature upon hire.
- Identify areas for improvement in the onboarding process, using feedback and audits to create more efficient, effective, and engaging programs for new employees.
