The IT Project Manager oversees the planning and delivery of Engineering and IT projects, ensuring they adhere to business objectives and meet deadlines and budget constraints. A key aspect of the job will be translating business goals into tangible project plans that alignm with organizational targets and stakeholder needs.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and oversee IT and Engineering projects assigned to the CTO Office, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop agile project plans, schedules, and resource allocation, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Utilize project management tools/software to track project metrics, milestones, and dependencies.
- Communicate project status updates, milestones, and issues to stakeholders in both English and Spanish.
- Monitor project progress and performance, implementing adjustments as necessary to achieve project goals.
- Represent the CTO in meetings and projects, keeping high standards and ensuring alignment with the business goals.
Education/Experience and Other Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Proven record of project management experience
- PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a plus
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
- Must maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
- Knowledge of IT regulations and best practices
- Proficiency in various software and project-management tools
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights to inform decision-making
