Reports to: Central Dispatch Foreman
Scope of Position
- Deliver to drill sites, flow stations, gathering centers, drill pads, pipeline access sites and drilling rigs dispatched, non-mobile, oilfield equipment using ICE Services fleet vehicles.
- Equipment includes, but is not limited to, triplexes, slop oil trailers, methanol trailers, mineral oil trailers, well support tanks, envirovacs, filter pots, rig mats, mat track trucks, grip track trucks, welders, heaters, light plants, compressors, generators, etc.
- Drive in the oilfield along pipeline and well site access roads, in remote areas.
- Communication with Non-Mobile Dispatchers via Harmony radio.
- Keep vehicles in clean and reliable condition.
- Harmony radio is the primary means of communication to Dispatchers and user groups, requiring complete understanding of radio procedures, protocol, and etiquette.
- Thorough understanding of policies and procedures and willingness to stop the job if scope changes or hazard is identified.
- Must adhere to all client communication protocols when accessing pads and facilities.
- Must follow all Environmental Management System (EMS) policies and procedures.
- Must follow all incident reporting protocols.
- Demonstrate understanding of Alaska Safety Handbook (ASH).
- Position staffed day and night shift, 365 days a year.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Background
- Must have exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Must be able to make quick and critical decisions while managing multiple sources of incoming and outgoing information.
- Must have knowledge/experience with basic computer skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively; both oral and written.
Certificates, Licenses, or other Requirements
- Class-A CDL with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements.
- Current medical examiner’s certificate.
- NSTC required.
- Must pass a pre-hire drug test, breath alcohol test, Fit for Duty test and background check.
- Commitment to proactive, positive, and sustainable HSE culture.
- Experience in oilfield equipment, hauling equipment, and with Greater Prudhoe Bay.
