Reports to: Central Dispatch Foreman
Scope of Position
- Dispatch Hilcorp-unit owned and third party rental Non-Mobile (NM) Equipment to the Greater Prudhoe Bay.
- Observe and adhere to all job safety standards and regulations.
- Dispatch equipment using expeditors in the field.
- Receive requests for equipment from user groups, primary communication Harmony radio.
- Keep track of equipment moves and locations using a combination of Dispatcher software and Excel spreadsheets.
- Organize, manage, and coordinate equipment flow for E-Line, slick line, coil tubing, and DHD.
- Run twice daily location status reports on equipment moves and distribute it to fuelers and oilers.
- Coordinate equipment releases with Expeditors to fill new incoming requests via daily move sheets.
- Generate Hilcorp non-mobile unit owned shop report, which identifies equipment out of service and unavailable for dispatching.
- Harmony radio is the primary means of communication from Dispatchers to Expeditors, requiring complete understanding of radio procedures, protocol, and etiquette.
- Manage fuel island Phoenix software program in GPB when chip key problems arise.
- Work with various client-owned software programs.
- Create ERN (Equipment Rental Notification) when renting equipment from third party vendors.
- Position is staffed day and night, 365 days a year.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Experience and Background
- Must have exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Must be able to make quick and critical decisions while managing multiple sources of incoming and outgoing information using a radio, phone and computer simultaneously.
- Must have knowledge/experience with basic computer skills, and advanced Excel experience is required.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively; both oral and written.
- Certificates, Licenses, or other Requirements
- Driver’s license.
- NSTC required.
- Must pass a pre-hire drug test, breath alcohol test, Fit for Duty test and criminal background check.
