What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Textile Machine Operator position at ICF Mercantile?
Seeking motivated individual to operate the machinery in a safe and efficient manner by performing the following duties:
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Operate manufacturing equipment to produce products as per production plan.
- Responsible for equipment set-up and maintenance of textile machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Ensure completed products are handled safely and packaged to proper specifications.
- Responsible for inspection of completed products to ensure they meet customer requirements and are free of defects.
- Maintains a clean facility and ensure proper storage of medical and industrial textiles.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Basic understanding in use of hand tools for maintenance of industrial machinery.
- Safety oriented mindset
- Quality control skills
- Ability to understand and interpret production plan so production goals are reached.
- Writing, Reading and Oral Communication Skills
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience preferred but not necessary
