Senior Information Technology Project Manager
We’re currently seeking experienced Senior Project Management professionals to support multiple client initiatives—ranging from new system development and enhancements to existing applications, to modernization of legacy systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead comprehensive Project Governance and Management, including:
- Project Schedule Management
- Risk, Scope, and Cost Management Plans
- Change Control & Issue Management
- Communication and Staffing Plans
- Organizational Change Management
- Facilitate meetings (discovery, design, status, agile ceremonies)
- Drive iteration planning, sprints, and retrospectives
- Create project artifacts, timelines, and business requirement documents
- Oversee project budgets and procurement efforts
- Monitor and manage scope, risk, and change requests
- Use tools such as MS Project, Azure DevOps, SmartSheet, and MS Teams to track progress
- Produce regular reports and executive-level readouts
- Act as a servant-leader to remove impediments and drive delivery forward
Required Experience & Skills:
- 5 years of experience managing large, complex IT projects
- Proven track record executing full lifecycle project plans and budgets
- Strong knowledge of Agile and traditional PM methodologies
- Experience managing third-party vendors and system integrators
- Expertise in leading cross-functional IT teams in dynamic environments
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field – or equivalent work experience (Required)
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or other relevant certifications are a plus
