Broad Function:
The Manager of Manufacturing will oversee all manufacturing operations within the organization, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and effectively. This role will be critical in driving operational excellence, enhancing productivity, and implementing best practices across our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation.
Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Cross-Training Initiatives: Implement cross-training programs and establish tiered employee categories to enhance workforce flexibility and capability, ensuring a more agile and responsive manufacturing team.
Job Reporting Improvement Initiatives: Develop and implement a comprehensive job reporting action plan to enhance tracking and accountability across all manufacturing operations, ensuring that performance metrics are met and reported accurately.
Process Optimization and Improvements: Identify and execute opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions through lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
Kaizen and VAVE Events: Oversee the execution of six (6) Kaizen or Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) events annually, driving a culture of continuous improvement and engaging cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions.
Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, implementing quality control measures to maintain high product standards.
Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and sales teams to align manufacturing goals with overall business objectives and market demands.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, focusing on cost control, resource allocation, and productivity enhancements.
Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with procurement to optimize inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials for production.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field
· 7 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in the HVAC or related industries.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean methodologies, and quality management systems.
· Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving production goals.
· Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading Kaizen or VAVE initiatives.
· Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
· Proficiency in manufacturing software and ERP systems.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
