We are currently seeking a Medical Editor to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Medical Editor at ICON, you will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring the accuracy of clinical documents and publications. Your attention to detail and expertise will be essential in maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with regulatory guidelines in our clinical research initiatives.
What You Will Be Doing :
You will work with Microsoft Word daily, utilizing advanced toolbar features to format and refine documents efficiently. Training will be provided for additional tools and add-ons as needed.
You will be introduced to Veeva Vault, a vital Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) used in regulatory processes. You will follow established workflows and processes to ensure document compliance.
As you reach key milestones, you will undergo cross-functional training to develop a comprehensive understanding of the client's brand and regulatory expectations.
This role requires clear, confident, and effective communication skills, as you will work both independently and collaboratively with internal teams.
You will be responsible for proofreading, formatting, and ensuring documents adhere to quality standards and industry guidelines.
The ability to manage multiple documents simultaneously, maintain meticulous attention to detail, and stay highly organized is crucial for success in this role.
Your Profile :
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, medicine, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in medical editing or scientific writing, preferably within a clinical research or pharmaceutical environment.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and an understanding of clinical research processes and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all editorial work.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Ability to manage multiple documents, workflows, and deadlines with precision.
