Job Title: HR Assistant - I-9 Compliance
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Assistant with a strong focus on I-9 compliance to join our team on a 6-month contract. This hybrid position requires in-office attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of I-9 regulations and be the primary point of contact for managers regarding I-9 inquiries and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support in answering questions and reviewing I-9 forms to ensure correct completion and compliance with federal regulations.
- Serve as the main point of contact for hiring managers regarding I-9 processes, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
- Collaborate closely with Hiring Managers (HMs) to facilitate a smooth and efficient I-9 verification process.
- Participate in periodic audits to ensure adherence to I-9 compliance standards and implement best practices for continuous improvement.
- Utilize E-Pro for invoicing and support various administrative tasks related to HR functions.
- Manage a significant volume of emails to address queries and communicate with stakeholders effectively.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in I-9 regulations and compliance.
- Prior experience in HR or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using E-Pro and other HR software is advantageous.
