Position Overview:
The Dean of Culture plays a crucial role in fostering a positive and structured school environment. Reporting directly to the Principal, the Dean of Culture is responsible for student discipline, building supervision, and promoting strong staff-student relationships. This position also supports student and school program planning, ensuring alignment with the school’s mission and behavioral expectations. Additionally, the Dean collaborates with school leadership and teachers to develop strategies for classroom instruction and management, working proactively to create a culture of high expectations and student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and enforce school-wide discipline policies, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Supervise common areas of the school to maintain order and positive student behavior.
- Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families to promote a culture of mutual respect and accountability.
- Support teachers in developing and implementing effective classroom management strategies.
- Assist in planning and executing school programs that enhance student development and engagement.
- Work collaboratively with school leadership to identify and address challenges related to school culture and climate.
- Serve as a key problem-solver for student-related concerns, implementing proactive solutions to improve behavior and academic success.
Qualifications:
- Experience in student discipline, school leadership, or behavioral management in an educational setting.
