Primary Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate and consult with business stakeholders to gather and document reporting requirements
- Develop report mock-ups and proof of concepts to facilitate effective hand-offs to the Business Intelligence (BI) development team
- Provide feedback on layout, visualization types, and overall presentation to ensure that dashboards meet business requirements
- Test reports and dashboards to validate content accuracy, usability, and data quality from a business perspective
- Gather feedback from end-users to continuously refine and improve reports and dashboards
- Perform ad-hoc data queries on semantic models to address business questions and resolve issues
- Organize and conduct training sessions, both in-person and virtually, to ensure users are confident in using the reports and dashboards
- Scrum Master for BI Dev Team
Skills Required:
- Experience with clinical development lifecycle; including clinical development planning, project management, and database systems (CTMS, EDC, IRT, etc.)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively, strategically, and tactically
- Ability to work with both Technical and Business Team Resources
- Experience with Excel Power Query
- Experience with BI Visualization tools
- Relevant certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, social/physical/life science, business, or related field and minimum three (3) years’ experience in data analytics
- Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting the development of dashboards/reports in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically phase I-III Oncology
