What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler - Aerospace position at ICONMA?
Our Client, an Aerospace and Defense company, is looking for an Assembler for their North Charleston, SC location.
Responsibilities :
- Performs complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.
- Look up / read / comprehend technical work instructions, drawings and / or specifications.
- Apply sealant and to surface per specifications.
- Install various aircraft system components such as panel installs.
- Operate mechanical lifts of various types (e.g. ladders, tiger and snorkel lifts).
- Various tools such as Rivet gun and bucking bar, screwdrivers, lock bolt puller, power screwdriver, C-squeeze, ratchet wrench, nut runner, Winslow, 90-Degree Power Vane, or Quackenbush and various other hand tools.
- Perform Bond and ground measurements
- Perform in-tank sealing in fuel tank and other structure work
- Perform wash of the fuel tank
