Our Client, is an Health Insurance company, is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer, Software for their Reston, VA/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:

- The responsibilities include execution of full life cycle activities in support of multiple DevSecOps tools which will include but not limited to:
- Work directly with architect, principal and lead engineer, and other team members on design and implement tasks.
- Plan and build roadmaps for the EKS and AWS DevOps Implementation.
- Build Applications with EKS and AWS best practices
- Accountable for meeting milestones.
- Conduct code review, unit and integration testing.
- Document system design and unit testing information
- Automation of manual steps
- AWS and EKS operations
- Build the Agreed upon App that leverages EKS, Cloudnative concepts and implement in production.
- Retrospect on the current implementation and document for future use.
- Cloud Native tools
- Administer AWS console where Cloudbees Agent exists on the EC2 instance.
- Hands on with EKS and AWS
- Hands on with Python, Shell scripting
- Have hands on skills with Cloudbees, BitBucket, Sonar, Artifactory, CloudNative Practices. Wide breadth knowledge of development and testing best DevSecOps practices.
- Outstanding knowledge in Continuous Integration (CI), Testing (CT), Security and deployment (CD) concepts. Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
- Apply engineering principles to improve resiliency, performance, efficiency and scalability of the DevSecOps eco system
- Find opportunities and build automation to reduce team’s interdependency
