We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join our Leadership Development, Coaching, and Support Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative and engaging training programs focused on software systems used across the organization. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze training needs, create instructional materials, and deliver high-impact learning solutions. The ideal candidate has experience in instructional design, adult learning theory, and a strong understanding of software systems and technology.
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience:
Instructional Design Expertise
Proven experience designing and developing
instructional materials, including eLearning, instructor-led training, and blended solutions, specifically for software systems.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong understanding of software applications and technology platforms, with the ability to translate complex software functions into clear, understandable training materials.
Adult Learning Theory:
Solid knowledge of adult learning principles and how to apply them in a corporate setting, ensuring training is accessible, engaging, and effective.
Preferred Skills/Experience - Optional but preferred skills/experience. Include:
eLearning Development Tools
Experience with industry-standard eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Familiarity with LMS platforms for managing, deploying, and tracking training programs.
Project Management
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Education/Certifications - Include:
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
3 years of experience designing and developing training for software applications.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality, impactful training solutions.
