What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab position at ICONMA?
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 6 months
Description:
Required Exp:
At least 1 year in the acute care hospital environment.
Ideal overall experience is 2 years.
Must be familiar with the acute care hospital setting, have excellent patient handling skills and transfer techniques, be a good communicator, comfortable working with other members of the health care team (i.e. nursing, MD, Case management), team player, strong time management skills, be self-directed, flexible and able to multitask.
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity in working with patients in a hospital setting, ICU experience would be an added bonus.
Experience in working with diverse patient populations is also a plus.
Experience with EPIC documentation is a plus.
Required Certs:
MA OT licensure, CPR certification (AHA BLS healthcare provider)
Therapists usually manage a patient list of 8-15 patients, and are usually able to see between 6-7 patients.
