What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab position at Integrated Resources, Inc ( IRI )?
*SHIFT: 40hr Days, 8am-4:30pm, no weekends, no major holidays, no on-call.*
Required Exp: At least 1 year in the acute care hospital environment. Ideal overall experience is ?2 years. Must be familiar with the acute care hospital setting, have excellent patient handling skills and transfer techniques, be a good communicator, comfortable working with other members of the health care team (i.e. nursing, MD, Case management), team player, strong time management skills, be self-directed, flexible and able to multitask.
Preferred Experience: Familiarity in working with patients in a hospital setting, ICU experience would be an added bonus. Experience in working with diverse patient populations is also a plus. Experience with EPIC documentation is a plus. Required Certs: MA OT licensure, CPR certification (AHA BLS healthcare provider) Average Patient Ratio or Patients seen in a shift: Goal productivity is 5.2 hours in a 8 hour day. Therapists usually manage a patient list of 8-15 patients, and are usually able to see between 6-7 patients.
