What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Specialist position at ICONMA?
Our Client, an Innovative Products And Diverse Power Solutions company, is looking for a Payroll Specialist for their Wauwatosa, WI location.
Responsibilities :
- Completes Payroll processing & all aspects associated with it.
- Reviews, reconciles, audits & balances Payroll documents / files to ensure practices are following company policy as well as regulatory guidelines.
- Provides customer service for all employees and third party vendors associated with all aspects of Payroll.
- Assists with training staff on new procedures and systems and oversees the preparation of special payrolls.
- Performs tasks associated with payroll processing which includes :
- procedures, auditing, reviewing, balancing, data entry, processing (calculating & confirm), reporting & transmissions to vendors.
- Produces ad hoc reports for various departments for Corporate requirements.
- Completes internal and external reporting to ensure customer needs / requirements are met.
- Performs weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual tax payments and filing with Federal, State and local agencies.
- Maintains accurate record keeping and supporting spreadsheets and documents for all filings and payments.
- Administers and oversees all tasks associated with expatriate payroll processing and special payrolls.
- DOL, IRS, FLSA, Federal & State regulations, garnishments, levies, court orders, company policy, direct deposit, W-4, escheated property, Sarbanes Oxley audit, internal procedures and record retention.
- Provides Customer Support including training aspects of Payroll.
- Performs other duties as assigned
