JOB SUMMARY
Create stand-out visual content and execute creative campaigns that support seasonal marketing strategies, drive engagement with our key audiences, and increase overall awareness, understanding, of our different brands. The successful candidate will have a blend of design, social media, and marketing skills. All work is to be done at the office or events (as needed). There will not be any possibility of working from home.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design images, infographics, GIFs, and other impactful visual content that generates awareness, creates excitement, and drives traffic to events; experiment with new visuals without compromising brand or quality; help ensure continuity across all social channels
- Work with social media manager to develop, deploy, and refine social media campaigns that shape customer experiences across our social media platforms to keep them connected and engaged; help coordinate photo and video shoots; source video and photographs for social needs; continuously evaluate changing social trends; brainstorm new and innovative ideas that will interest customers
- Create, maintain content rollout calendar for short-term initiatives and long-term branding; assist in the planning and execution of the content calendar, ensuring all creative is up-to-date, approved, links and captions are correct
- Surface and catalogue high quality user generated content to share on our branded social media and marketing channels
- Coordinate materials for influencer and giveaway winners
- Manage multimedia libraries and archives
- Help develop visual and data-driven reports and updates on results and activities
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends for social media, design tools and applications
- Work on special projects, initiatives, promotions and other programs as needed
- Provide occasional support for meetings and organizational events as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications
- Graphic design is a key responsibility for this position, so strong knowledge of fundamental design principles and standards, as well as proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite is a must. Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro
- Solid understanding of channel technical requirements
- Native use and knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn,TikTok
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Willing to periodically be “on call” to monitor social media channels and occasionally cover events outside of regular business hours
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Writing experience a plus
Required Education
- Bachelor Degree in relevant studies preferably in advertising, communications, or business fields
- Or Technical degree in same field
