Responsibilities:
- Review/Validate confirmations and log DEW discrepancies.
- Work with team members and front office personnel to resolve discrepancies.
- Work with counterparties as needed to resolve discrepancies.
- Driving continuous improvement efforts to enhance and streamline contracting processes.
- Managing assigned categories effectively and efficiently, with focus on high stakeholder engagement/management
- Resolving contract issues/disputes (pricing, quality, timing, claims, liens, etc.)
- Collaborating with Legal to ensure compliance with all P66 clause owner requirements and legal statutes.
- 1-3 years of experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Industry knowledge helpful, and experience on a trade floor or in a trade floor support role a plus.
- Data/process-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy of deal capture and contracting information.
- Commodity Contract and Procurement, business, and/or engineering work experience
- Experience with purchase order creation, sourcing, negotiations, and contracting.
- Procurement experience in the energy industry
- Experience leading multiple Procurement initiatives concurrently across sourcing, contracting, materials management, and/or Procure-To-Pay (P2P)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, SAP, Ariba, and other procurement technologies
- Ability to interface across functions and with key stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
- Strong analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to negotiate and influence critical decisions.
