We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Health & Medicare Insurance Agent to join our growing team at ICT Insurance Group. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals navigate their healthcare options while providing expert guidance on Health and Medicare insurance plans. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation & Needs Assessment: Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to assess their health insurance needs and provide personalized plan recommendations based on their medical history, budget, and lifestyle.
- Product Knowledge & Sales: Stay up-to-date on the latest Individual health insurance plans, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and prescription drug plans. Present and explain these plans to clients in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Enrollment & Application Assistance: Guide clients through the enrollment process, completing applications, and ensuring accuracy in submitted documentation.
- Client Education & Support: Educate clients on the details of their Health and Medicare coverage options, benefits, and any potential changes. Provide ongoing support and answer client questions or concerns.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Utilize multiple channels to generate new leads, including referrals, networking, and marketing strategies. Build and maintain a strong client base to drive growth and meet sales targets.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and maintain proper records of client interactions, plans, and commissions.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in health insurance sales, including Medicare plans (preferred, but not required)
- Strong knowledge of health and Medicare insurance products, regulations, and industry trends (preferred, but not required)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain complex insurance concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner
- Strong sales skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Valid state insurance license (Health, Medicare, or equivalent)
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus)
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $38,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
