What You’ll Do :
Provide friendly and engaging customer service to every guest.
Maintain product knowledge and stay informed on promotions and merchandise.
Assist with merchandising, displays, store cleanliness, and stock replenishment.
Operate the cash register (POS system) accurately and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with pricing, signing, and loss prevention policies.
Work as a team to create a welcoming and efficient shopping experience.
What We’re Looking For :
- Retail, sales, or cash handling experience required. Prefer 5 years.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak season.
- Comfortable working in an unheated building and varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to live and work in a remote, rural community and travel by small plane or ferry.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements :
Prolonged standing and movement throughout the workday.
Ability to walk or drive on gravel roads in inclement weather.
Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat as needed.
Work in a lively, fast-paced, and sometimes noisy environment.
