POSITION
The Director of Sales develops, implements, and oversees the end-to-end revenue function, supporting, directing, and holding the sales team accountable for meeting goals using a team-selling approach via web-based presentations and face-to-face meetings. Responsible for hiring, leading, and managing a remote, geographically dispersed sales team, this role works across the organization to build, train, and coach to a culture of consistent positive sales performance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Commercial Real Estate (CRE) or PropTech (Property Technology) highly desired.
- The ideal candidate is in Central or Eastern time zone and is near a major airport.
- Ideal location for candidate is Dallas, Austin, Chicago, Atlanta, or Tampa Bay area.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills—“commands a room” and composes compelling grammatically correct messages with accurate spelling.
- 5 or more years of experience managing remote sales teams in a technology and services environment (such as SaaS and field services).
- Prior experience recruiting, developing, and retaining sales teams from the ground up.
- Proven track record of quota achievement as a manager in Enterprise sales.
- 3 or more years of Conversational Intelligence tools (e.g., Gong, Chorus, SalesLoft, etc.).
- 3 or more years of managing email cadence campaigns (e.g., SalesLoft or Engage).
- Demonstrable expertise in coaching and Consultative sales methodologies.
DAY-TO-DAY TASKS
- Meet revenue and team activity goals.
- Design sales team processes, tactics, playbooks, and policies.
- Be a visible part of the team-selling approach by participating in sales calls and meetings.
- Hire, develop, train, and hold accountable a team of experienced sales Development Representatives, Account Managers, and Account Executives.
- Hold weekly One-on-One meetings with each direct report, along with productivity reviews.
- Report regularly on individual and team results.
- Plan and host daily/ weekly/ monthly team huddles and sales meetings.
- Develop, track, and report on relevant metrics (such as CAC, CLTV, win rate, etc.).
- Leverage CRM (Client Relationship Management) to mine data and make decisions.
- Competitive Analysis, intelligence gathering, and strategy development.
- Other tasks and duties, as assigned.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- OTE (On Target Earnings): $250,000 annually, made up of base salary plus commission
- Base Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 based on experience, location, and skill factors
- Commission: Up to $130,000 annually
