Position Overview
Position Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires. Ensure a smooth transition for new employees through effective onboarding.
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Compensation & Benefits Administration: Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs (health, retirement, etc.), ensuring accurate enrollment and changes.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure company policies and practices comply with local, state, and federal labor laws. Support the preparation and filing of necessary documentation for regulatory compliance (e.g., EEO-1, OSHA, etc.). Monitor and maintain HR-related records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Training & Development: Coordinate and assist in employee development programs. Help track employee progress and identify opportunities for additional training or skill development.
- HR Administration: Assist with maintaining employee files and records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Access and support HR systems, track employee status changes and provide accurate reporting to management when needed.
- HR Projects: Contribute to various HR projects such as wellness initiatives and process improvement efforts. Provide support for any special HR initiatives or company-wide programs as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a closely related field. Any combination of relevant education and/or experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional-level human resource experience.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of HRIS, computers, and software.
- Demonstrated proficiency in organization, time management, adaptability, flexibility, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying laws, rules, policies, and procedures.
- Demonstrate ability to be a team member.
- Flexibility of schedule and willingness to work select evenings and/or weekends on occasion.
