Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team. This employee will play a pivotal role in supporting the Human Resources department and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and interviewing candidates.
- Represent the company at regional employment/hiring fairs.
- Prepare and process offer letters and background checks.
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the company.
Employee Engagement
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related issues.
- Support conflict resolution and assist in addressing employee concerns.
- Help develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
Benefits and Payroll Assistance
- Assist employees with understanding and enrolling in company benefits programs.
- Support benefits administration.
- Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate employee records and timekeeping.
Compliance & Policy Management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies.
- Maintain and update employee records per legal requirements.
- Assist in creating, updating, and enforcing HR policies and procedures.
Performance Management & Training
- Support performance review processes and provide guidance to managers and employees.
- Assist with training and development initiatives to support employee growth.
- Help identify skills gaps and recommend professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of HR Laws and Regulations, including FMLA, FLSA, and EEO
- HR Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus but not required.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and compliance.
- Proficiency in HRIS & ATS systems.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

- Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
- FLSA Status: Full-Time, Non-exempt.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
