Job Title: Bookkeeper Status: Full Time/Not Exempt
Reports to: Executive Director Department: Administration
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Must be willing to sign and support the Idaho Falls Rescue Mission Statement of Faith. Provide direction and leadership within the Mission to establish and achieve outcomes and goals in accordance with Idaho Falls Rescue Mission objectives. Responsible for financial reporting, policies and procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Uphold, promote, and encourage, in word and deed, desired organizational culture and core values.
2. Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner. Monthly and annual financial statements; and oversee all financial, project/programs and grants accounting.
3. Coordinate and lead the annual audit process.
4. Insure proper and timely filing of tax returns.
5. Process all payroll, taxes and unemployment.
6. Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the Executive Director and appropriate Board Members; administer and review all financial plans and budgets.
7. Review and revise the IFRM financial policy and regulation continuity book.
8. Familiar with Best Accounting Practices.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
1. Updated on current technology platforms used in the broad finance profession.
2. Sound problem-solving skills and risk mitigation, all in alignment with IFRM values.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships with diverse groups of people.
4. 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping, auditing, and accounting practices
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
