What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Journeymen Electrician (Chilco) position at Idaho Forest Group?
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
- Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations and JSAs.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical components.
- Diagnose causes of malfunctions.
- Continually work on preventative maintenance.
- Ensure inventory of critical spare parts.
- Assist millwrights in making mechanical repairs as needed.
- Maintain a production level work pace.
- Other duties as needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current Journeyman electricians license.
- Possess knowledge of PLC’s, OSHA regulations, and state regulations.
- Must possess your own tools.
- Ability to adjust work schedule, perform shift work, and work overtime as needed.
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test, post-offer pre-employment physical, and background check. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Valid driver’s license. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to sit and / or stand for shift, reach with hands and arms, stoop, squat, bend at the waist, kneel, walk varying distance, and climb stairs.
