What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Coordinator - Central Fab (Athol) position at Idaho Forest Group?
The Parts Coordinator processes inbound material shipments, distribution of parts and materials, and helps maintain inventory accuracy. Will include offloading trucks, material movement, deliveries, parts pickup, and cycle counting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations and JSAs.
- Forklift operation. This will include moving heavy and large material, along with standard palletized, boxed, and loose material/parts.
- Picking material and parts as requested for scheduled work. Maintain accurate records of order picking.
- Returning unused material to stock. This includes proper identification, measurement, and job origin.
- Package and/or palletize outbound parts and materials.
- Receive inventory parts, attach work orders to relevant parts, process receiving paperwork.
- Keep working areas clean
- Perform equipment checks
- Other duties as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Two or more years of experience in forklift operation, material handling, and shipping/receiving operations.
- Skills:
- Forklift operation. Telehandler experience a plus.
- Basic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Fabrication material identification. Metalworking knowledge a plus.
- Inventory operations including cycle count.
- Ability to pass a hair follicle drug test, post-offer pre-employment physical, and background check.
- Valid CDL License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Ability to sit and/or stand for shift, reach with hands and arms, stoop, squat, bend at the waist, kneel, walk varying distance, and climb stairs.
