What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Procurement Attorney position at Idaho National Laboratory?
Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Corporate Attorney to work perform government procurement and commercial transaction work in our Legal department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off.
Responsibilities Include :
- Provide timely, competent legal advice regarding procurements governed by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the Department of Energy Acquisition Regulations (DEAR), and contracts with the Department of Energy.
- Consult with executive officers, managers, technical experts and government contract specialists on procurement and transactional matters. Provide training as required.
- Help to develop and consult on commercial best practices, contracting processes and company policies.
- Negotiate contractual terms and conditions in commercial transactions on behalf of the company.
- Manage transactional and enterprise-level legal risks on behalf of the company.
- Provide legal advice regarding matters of corporate compliance with agency agreements and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain proficiency in all assigned areas of law.
