Research Excellence Programs Faculty Programs Coordinator

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Faculty Programs Coordinator to work in our Research Excellence Programs department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule onsite in Idaho Falls, Idaho with every other Friday off. You will report to the Research Excellence Programs Director. Hybrid work opportunities may be available for this position.

The Research Excellence Programs Faculty Programs Coordinator at INL will act as a liaison between INL and other institutions, creating opportunities for researchers through joint appointments. Responsibilities include updating policies, communication materials, and overseeing the joint appointment program. The coordinator will collaborate with leadership and sponsors to ensure efficient processes, coordinate requests and approvals, track data and progress, provide updates, and resolve agreement-related issues.

Responsibilities Include

• Build and facilitate working relationships to amplify INL efforts.
• Participate in working teams in assigned work scope and activities.
• Maintain INL protocol policies, directives, and procedures, and oversee effective implementation and adherence to the reported requirements and expectations.
• Other responsibilities as assigned
• Support the program manager in accomplishing tasks to help the systems for activities, community grants and overall support of related programs.
• Work with a team to produce and distribute information on programs for a variety of team members. Provide expertise to adapt the programs numerous grants, forms, and metrics to Qualtrics database management system.
• Outreach: Represent assigned organization in professional situations.
• Facilitate working relationships between INL and university faculty researchers.
• Provide training and support for employee ambassadors working in the community.
• Use best practices to develop materials including interactive and engaging digital and offline instructional activities.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Level 3: Bachelor's and 5 years of related experience. Master's and 2 years of related experience. PhD and 2 years.
• Level 4: Bachelor's and 9 years of related experience. Master's and 6 years of related experience. PhD and 4 years.Experience highly desired in the following arenas:
• Program Management, University relations work, faculty affairs.
• Manage cross-functional relationships with R&D staff, business, and legal partners
• Prior experience working with university faculty and administration
• Ability to interact effectively with university representatives, stakeholders, including administrators and faculty
• Experience working with researchers/scientists
  
  

Job Information

• The pay range for this position is: Level 3 ($65,064 min - $133,416 max) / Level 4 ($77,628 min - $159,228 max). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
