Cost Analyst Manager at Amentum in Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States Job Description Our Nuclear Projects group is a Tier 1 provider to the U.S. Department of Energy, we deliver safe and innovative solutions at complex nuclear cleanup and production sites. Our services include program management, decommissioning, environmental remediation, waste and nuclear material management, nuclear operations, consulting, engineering, and construction. We are looking to add a Cost Analyst Manager to our growing team out at the Spent Fuel Handling Project that is in Scoville, ID which is about 55 miles away from Idaho Falls. The Cost Analyst Manager is responsible for providing direction, oversight, guidance and support to all cost analysts supporting the Spent Fuel Handling Project at the Naval Reactors Facility of Idaho National Lab. Leads development and maintenance of reports, procedures and work processes for cost and variance analysis. This position reports to the Project Controls Manager. Works with Operations and Project leadership including the Project Manager, Project Controls Manager and Construction Manager as required to develop and maintain EVMS and cost reports and procedures. Primary Duties : Identification and mitigation of risks Collect, analyze, trend forecasting and reporting on project data and cost variances Review and support the ongoing updates to Earned Value Management System (EVMS) metrics Provide leadership to support the following project needs : Provide leadership and training for the Project Cost Analyst (PCA) team members. This role will be responsible for the performance of those within the group as well as creating a positive team environment Development of methods and metrics for creating costing trends and forecasting projection reports for the project status Verifying that the updates are an accurate representation of the work accomplished Create training material to unify the PCAs methods and processes to create standardization of reports Consolidate the impact of approved changes and any deviations from the key project targets and milestones, including productivity monitoring and 'What if scenarios' to aid project management decision-making Deliver close-out data to enable knowledge retention (lessons learned, project data compilation) at completion of work Develop narratives to document how project plan is being executed and variances to the plan Work with Project Controls Manager to continuously improve the efforts and reporting of the team Manage the day-to To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
