Job Summary and Description : The Facilities Mechanical Engineering Manager at Micron is responsible for managing a team of engineers that are the subject matter experts for the HVAC, cooling water and mechanical systems across the entire Boise campus including the ID1 high volume manufacturing fab. The engineering team works closely with the Operations team to ensure the systems are operating as designed and within specification limits, assists in trouble shooting, drives reliability and efficiency improvements and monitors system parameters. Provides design engineering support for base build projects, system expansion, modifications, and new equipment installations by developing the statement of work, sequence of operations and basis of design. This includes providing design review input and submittal review. Responsible for driving global alignment, reliability and efficiency improvements, cost reductions, capacity planning, improved automation and monitoring, regulatory compliance, cost reductions and alignment to sustainability goals.
