IT Project Coordinator (Remote) at GovCIO in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Overview GovCIO is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Health Services Portfolio in support of its client at the Department of Veterans Affairs in the Office of Information Technology for the Healthcare Environment and Logistics Mgmt (HELM) Portfolio. Additionally, flexibility and forward-thinking views are important for success.?This is a US-based, fully remote position with core hours of operation from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM ET. Responsibilities Support VA program goals, resource planning, monitoring, and reporting progress, providing oversite of contractors as well as providing complete oversight of program milestones to ensure the team is meeting those goals, and monitoring risks as required for VA leadership. Leverage organizational and interpersonal skills and attention to detail to assign tasks, request information, identify action items, and manage all tasks, data requests, and action items to completion. Develop succinct presentations and visualizations based on complex information using PowerPoint. Prepare, coordinate, manage and lead program briefings and reports when required. Validate schedule logic following data input. Develop IMS related reports to communicate schedule updates, progress, risks, issues, etc. Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in evaluation of future-fiscal-year resource planning for the sub product line as needed. Act as liaison with HELM business sponsors to evaluate and provide input into HELM tool functional requirements. The Project Coordinator will liaise with IT partners including the business owner, VA VISN / VAMC representatives, team technical SMEs, various OIT offices, and other internal or external stakeholders as required. Work with VA project managers to create strategies to improve ongoing activities as needed. Scheduling calendar meeting invitations and managing calendar for VA leadership, including recurring meetings, such as Weekly Status Meetings and Daily IPT / APT meetings, and ad-hoc meetings. Facilitating and documenting meetings and tracking to closure meeting outcomes and action items.
