SUMMARY
The Clearwater Memorial Public Library seeks a reliable and self-motivated individual with excellent customer service and communication skills to join its team.
GENERAL INFORMATION
We are seeking a part-time Library Assistant to work 24-28.5 hours per week, year-round, after completing a 90-day probationary period without benefits. The starting pay is $10.00 per hour.
The schedule varies, and flexibility is strongly preferred.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills and ability to follow instructions as assigned
- Customer service experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role requires frequent walking, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting. The applicant must be able to regularly lift up to 40 pounds (and occasionally up to 55 pounds) from floor level to above shoulder height.
