What's a typical day as a Logistics Maintenance Coordinator? You'll be : - Managing records maintenance and ensuring accuracy of data elements. - Performing daily tracking and tracing of rail fleet equipment, maintaining and documenting data in rail tracking systems. - Communicating with railroads to provide thorough management of jeopardized and at-risk cars with service issues. - Understanding the basic principles of rail fleet management to ensure movements are commercially acceptable. - Interface with rail maintenance team to manage related issues and drive process improvements. - Understanding and abiding by the rules / requirements of rail regulatory activity. - Assisting in documenting and pursuing claims against railroads. - Establishing relationships with railroads, facilities, and partnering business units to best service all parties. This job might be an outstanding fit if you : - Have asset management experience in related fields (preferred). - Have knowledge of supply chain management. - Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Have exceptional interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills. - Have advanced computer and math skills.
