Job Description
Under general direction, plan, organize, supervise, and perform landscaping and grounds maintenance work; perform related work.
Key Responsibilities
A Landscape Foreman is in charge of landscaping and grounds maintenance at landscaping installations as measured by supervisory responsibilities, acreage, shrub and flower acreage, and lawn acreage.
Minimum Qualifications
Considerable knowledge of:
- Landscaping and grounds maintenance and related safety practices.
Good knowledge of:
- Plant and soil types.
- Horticulture and professional landscaping practices.
Some knowledge of:
- Supervisory practices.
- Sprinkler system layout and design.
Experience:
- Operating and maintaining equipment and hand and power tools.
- Mixing and using landscape chemicals.
- Installing and maintaining sprinkler systems.
ISU Specialty Requirements
- These positions at ISU require a valid Driver's license.
- These positions at ISU require responding to emergency call-backs after normal working hours &/or holidays.
Additional Information
ISU minimum for this classification is $18.15/hour.
