Responsibilities
- Obtain new customers through direct marketing and networking
- Conduct on-site client meetings to understand and fulfill their event needs
- Provide detailed event layouts and descriptions
- Assist in planning and executing large-scale community events
- Attend training meetings and industry events to stay updated on trends
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the events industry in a sales capacity
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills (ability to type at least 45 wpm)
- Familiarity with event venues in the Treasure Valley is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple large projects simultaneously
- Creativity and problem-solving skills within the events industry
- Outgoing and sociable personality
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as required
- Valid driver’s license
Compensation
This is a base hourly position plus monthly sales commission.
