What are the responsibilities and job description for the GMU Account Manager position at Idaho Truck Specialties, L.L.C.?
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the government, municipal, and utility sectors.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, municipal leaders, utility managers, and other key stakeholders.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of Cobalt Truck Equipment’s solutions.
- Prepare and submit proposals, bids, and contracts in response to RFPs and other procurement opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to effectively position our solutions.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our brand and generate leads.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, or relevant experience in a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the government, municipal, or utility sectors.
- Strong understanding of government and utility procurement processes and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Work Environment
This position works remotely and in the main office during the workday. This role requires a large amount of driving and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour lunch, but hours could change based on need.
Travel
Up to 50% travel.
