Summary
This position performs building and yard maintenance, keeps all areas of the shop and yard organized and clean.
Essential Functions

Daily Duties
- Dump trash in main building and shop perimeter
- Patrol yard for trash and debris and any signs of tampering
- Inspect all company and customer vehicles and verify they are locked at the end of shift
- Blow out entire yard – Las Vegas only
- Clean and organize shop tool lockers
- Empty steel trash bins in fab room and all bays
- Wipe down oil tanks in lube area
- Wipe down portable grease dispensers
- Organize steel bins inside and outside
- Clean and organize hardware bins including those in the show room – Las Vegas only
- Clean and organize storage areas – Las Vegas only
- Inspect forklifts
- Remove any and all weeds on property
- Clean and degrease equipment and vehicles
- Steam clean forklifts
- Pressure wash display bodies
- Pickup and deliver parts – Las Vegas only
- Detail trucks
- Wipe down shop equipment
- Organize hydraulic hose area
- Clean solvent tank
- Repair paint on building when needed
- Breakdown pallets for disposal
- Load and unload shipments – Las Vegas only
- Assist with kit pulls – Las Vegas only
- Assist techs when needed
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with technicians, supervisors, and other shop hands.
- Ability to organize tools, parts, and materials in a systematic manner to improve workflow.
- Effective communication with supervisors, technicians, and colleagues to ensure clear instructions and task execution.
- Understanding of mechanical systems and components
- Ensuring that all work meets quality standards and safety requirements.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials, parts, and equipment (up to specific weight limits).
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a mechanical workshop environment.
- Forklift experience preferred
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment
This position works in a warehouse and shop setting, with outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard warehouse and shop equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, steam cleaners, and box cutters.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or type; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to
stand; walk; and sit for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a half hour lunch, but hours could change based on need.
