Job Description
Summary
Payroll administrator prepares payroll on a bi-weekly and monthly basis in ADP. Enters all new/re-hires in ADP in addition to processing all terminations. Inputs data entry of all payroll forms and changes. Calculates and processes sales commissions monthly.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Processing of all bi-weekly and monthly commission payrolls.
- Process mid-month draw payrolls.
- Create and transmit the GL file to CDK after each payroll cycle.
- Maintain employee A/R schedules.
- Maintain all employee data in ADP in a timely manner (ie entering new hires, terminations, etc).
- Enter one-time deductions, spiffs and vacation hours or earnings in payroll system.
- Ensure all hours are entered into payroll accurately.
- Any other payroll tasks given by the Payroll Manager.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Payroll experience preferred.
- ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.

Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand and climb ladders as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening, Holiday and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
