Job Description
- Develop and implement product safety and performance requirements to maintain quality benchmarks.
- Conduct research on applicable mandatory and voluntary safety standards to ensure product compliance.
- Coordinate third-party testing to verify product safety and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze consumer complaint trends, conduct root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee Supplier Quality Management Systems Audits to ensure vendors meet quality expectations and are current on all audits.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices by attending annual JPMA/CPSC meetings.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Manager within the consumer products industry.
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred.
- A strong understanding of quality management systems (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- A background or experience handling regulatory compliance and safety testing.
- Home Category – Textile background is a plus, and Walmart Experience is required.
